Warranty?
The Tornado Dry is supplied with a 1 year return to base warranty against manufacture defects. This warranty does not cover misuse or accidental damage of the product. Extendable warrantees are available on the products page.
How does it work?
The clothes are hung on the aluminium tree inside the blue outer bag. A high velocity fan and heater element blows warm air (+/-65 Deg C) into the bag from below, through the clothes and out the top. The clothes do not move. The drying process is the same as line drying only much quicker.
How long does drying take?
Drying times are subject to environmental conditions. Relative humidity, amount of clothing, water content of the clothes being dried and outside temperature. But on average, it takes a load of thin shirts and trousers approximately 60 minutes to dry, thick materials can take up to the full timer allowance of 180 minutes. Some items may dry quicker and others may take a little longer as every load is different in some way.
How much power does it us?
900w or 3.9Amp. Put another way, about 3p / hour (based on an off peak rate - Please check with your provider for exact costs) or 4 times less than a tumble dryer per hour.

How robust is it?
The unit comes with a 1 year warranty, however, this product has been designed to last for many years with constant use. Most parts are made from aluminium and thick plastic. Its simple and honest design speaks for its self.
How safe is it?
The unit is very safe! The fan and heater unit is located in the base which sits approximately 1 foot off the ground and is fused. If the unit gets excessively wet, the unit will trip out until dry then continue working again. The question of safety was raised by the Caravan Club when first discussing the unit and unsurprisingly was lade to rest when the product was trilled by them.
Returns Policy?
We comply with the distance selling regulations with respect to product returns. You have the right to return the product at your own cost within 7 days if you are not satisfied with the product. We will refund the purchase price of the goods, minus the cost of P&P. Please note that an additional administration fee may also be charged depending on the method of payment (Paypal - £7.50 and Sage Pay £4.00). Returns must be notified to us before the return is made. No refund will be issued if the goods are damaged or in an unfit state for resale.
